Black Contour SVT -looked like trade-in

Was at Mazda of Thousand Oaks yesterday to get a part for the RX-7..In their service road they had a Black Contour SVT sitting there..Had aftermarket wheels and a tan interior...Never seen one with tan insides..Must be early model...Had 103K miles on it and looked like they were gonna wholesale out..Was all detailed and cleaned up..The guy probably traded it in...

My Black one came with tan interior, until i painted the car a midnight blue color.....Im not sure if its an age thing, but yes, the black on tan is a rare color.

Black with a tan interior was available in 99 and 00. Tan interior was introduced when green exterior became available. I would guess that because the midnight blue interior would look funny in a green car. Starting in 99, all red SVTs came with tan interior although the options book listed both tan and blue as available.

red '98 svt's had blue interior and as above tan was avail. in 99-00
