Do you Guy's over there have the four pot 2.0 Litre YB Cosworth turbo engine in any of your cars, we in Europe had it in the Sierra, the Saphire and the Escort. The highest form of tune I know of is an Escort with 1138 BHP in Sweden and it is still only a 2.0 Litre, We in Britain have several big power Cossies, one of which is a MK1 Mondeo Running 4WD and 650 BHP, which has been timed at 186 MPH and soon to be upped to 850-900BHP
Goodness knows how fast it will be then.:shocked:
 
Someone in the UK converted a Cougar to awd but for the life of me I can't remember his name.. dammit. Very Very nice Cougar tho. It might be a 3L but its S/C or Turboed for sure. I remember a pic with that huge intercooler.

that is quite impressive, I do know of someone on this website that had a 3.0L supercharged SVT contour that was clocked at doing 170 mph (had the Zetec final drive).

The Itsfun cossie cars were very impressive. I think I've seen every video available of the Itsfun Sierra. Also, I've watched a certain movie of a Swedish Escort and a Supra.... many many times :laugh:. I was actually contemplating selling my car, but instead decided to turbo it... after listening to the 45mins of BOV in that movie :drool:
 
You could buy a Mondeo with 4WD from the factory over here, but the system was only okay for standard 2.0 litre trim, if you put much more power through it the diffs would over heat. The Jaguar X type uses the same floor pan as the Mondeo so you should be able to use the 4WD system off of one of those.
 
Wasn't there someone in the UK doing a RWD Mondeo conversion? I think he was using a Land Rover/Range Rover v8. The Jag X Type has been talked about many times, and I think it would be cheaper and nicer to just get an X Type.
