Recently I noticed that the clutch and the gas-pedal are harder to push. Dunno what's going on, anyone have an idea what could be the trouble, if at all?

You're getting old? Just messin with ya.
for the clutch, try bleeding it. suggest taking a turkey baster to the brake fluid resivor and replace the fluid and then bleed all four brakes and the clutch.
for the throttle check the routing of the cable and make sure there are no bends or kinks in it. Also check for a fraying cable.
