Yeah yeah it isn't a Contour, deal with it .
Anyways, my girlfriend's 96 Vulcan Taurus is having an interesting problem. It's like, opposite of overheating. Legit. The temp gauge stays very close to cold, she has no heat, and the engine does NOT GET HOT. I have no freaking idea how that is even possible. We drove a significant distance with a couple clumps of snow on the hood, and they did not melt. Like, WTF!?
There was a coolant leak earlier in the year that her dad fixed, so I'm not sure what kind of past history we are dealing with. However, I'm pretty sure coolant is flowing, otherwise the car would overheat. The leak is mostly fixed, but my girlfriend said she had to add a very small bit of coolant, but that was over the course of many months, so I'm not sure if that's significant.
Thanks in advance.
