The heads look pretty. I can't wait to see the motor all built up. Sorry if this is a repeat question but did you gasket match the exhaust ports to the exhaust gaskets? I ended up taking a decent amount of material out when I gasket matched my exhaust ports.

I personally have not completed any porting work myself (well on this engine anyway). I had BPE Racing Heads do the porting. I have yet to place the exhaust gaskets up against the ports, so I'm not sure where I currently sit. It is a good question, but I don't think I'll mess with the ports even if there is more to take off just for the reversion factor.

Well after a little prying and some burning (I had it soaking in gasoline to see if it would eat the rubber, no dice, but it did help it burn)...
and a couple of these...
Then some sand blasting...
I'm ready for some powder coating and some urethane. I have some 94A urethane, but I'm thinking I don't want teeth shattering stiffness. So I'm going to look at some other options.

My dad has the 94 for both the front and rear mounts, its very stiff. I can't remember which 2 we mixed for mine, but it was much more forgiving. I think it was a 60 and 80 something mixed. If I had to do it again I would just do the 80.

Yup I think I'm going to go with 80A urethane. Just can't remember how much I'm going to need. I thought 1lb would be enough for both, but I've got a PM to Josh to see what is up. Hopefully I hear back from him in a bit so I can place the order.

psh, just make them solid. I just installed solid roll mounts on my VR4 and i already had poly motor mounts, its really not that bad.
