No start, 1 click from starter = Solved

We had a sudden no start condition with our 98 Contour 2.5.

Symptoms: No crank, no start. Single click from starter.

The battery tested fine. Tested the connections at the battery and bypassed the battery with a booster and no change.

New starter installed, no change.

Turned out to be the positive cable failing before it connects to the battery. Check this out first if you have this problem.
