4th gear problem

every once in a while i get a buzzing sound and feel when i shift into 4th. should i change to a different kind of fluid? i am currently running mobile synthetic ATF.

Does it do it everytime you shift into 4th or just sometimes? Mine does it sometimes when I shift into a gear. It seems to change gears. I run royal purple in the trans now.

only 4th. it does it just once in a while it goes in smooth but i hear a buz and feel it in the knob.

I have the same problem too, except mine seems to go from gear to gear. I asked a fellow CEGER about it, he said his tour did the same thing so I assumed its a normal thing. Also, you can consider changing fluid to royal purple syncromax. I hear its the best to run in our trannys. If you opt not to, its ok I hear ATX fluid is ok too.
