-My first car was a 1992 Pontiac Sunbird with a 3.1L V6. Paid $1300 for it and then $1200 to get it fixed ($575 of that was from where I bought it).
-My second car was a 1996 Mercury Mystique 2.5L V6. That car was awesome. I had it for 2 years and treated it like my own baby until I got rear ended on vacation.
-With the insurance money I got a 1998 Mystique 2.5L V6 to replace the first one. It ran really good, and still does.
-I just recently bought a 2000 Contour SE Sport 2.5L V6. This car is currently in the shop for miscellanious switches, a cel, and a fuel level sending unit. Other than that it runs great and very fast.

On a whole I love the Contique. It is a nice sized car with plenty of get up and go. I've never had any serious trouble with any of my Contiques (other than these few problems with the current one) and the next one I get has to be a SVT.

Whoa Neil! Need a UIM/LIM rebuild there. A little bit of water or sand and the wheels spin easily from a stop for me.

My SVT is my first car and it's been a pretty good one. Easy to drive on the track, useable power(not too fast for the street), and very good handling.

While I still like it, I think it's time for a change. Next year I'm thinking about finding a used Corvette FRC or waiting for the '08/'09 Camaro.

    First car I bought/owned, basically

My first ford, stick shift, I4, first car I tore into, you name it it was my first.

I bought my old sweet ride with 100669 miles on it, drove it till 137K and owned it for 2.5 years. In that time I sunk a lot of cash into it, keeping it running and modding. I loved it to death and watching it go was one of the hardest things I ever did. I couldn't handle being there when the new owner drove it away, so I had my mom take care of transfering the title, I was at work while this took place.

My mom told me the guy that bought the car said to my mom "I have never met a more knowledageable teenager in my life, most teenagers just drive the car and if it breaks dont fix it... I dont even take this good of care of my cars"

Made me feel good to know my work didnt go unnoticed. (see signature)

    I made myself sad
Sold the CSVT, replaced it with a Screaming Yellow 2003 EAP SVT Focus

I just did it last year!

Well, if you use a substance to free up the wheels, I can understand. I was just saying I could never chirp the tires in the atx on dry road. Mind you, I've only tried this once where I held the brake and reved it to 3 grand and let go, and got nada!

Not that I'm looking to do this or anything, just found it interesting with the zetec.
