Thread: ZE-512 - no good in the snow.

Default ZE-512 - no good in the snow.

They may say "M&S" on the side, but it's a joke. I know it's fairly well known that these are not good winter tires, but they're not just bad, they're dangerous in the snow. Consider them summer tires.

Hell I found them brutal on dry pavement in the summer. I hated my ZE512s when I had them. I found them to not stick very well at all. Power to you for trying them in the snow tho .

I have those on my car for Winter specifically... I've driven in snow many times and they arent that bad..

I think most who attempt to purchase these use them year round so the tread goes fast.. I bought them strictly for Winter and they only stay on the car for 3 months or less each year.

There are alot worse tires than the Falkens out there when it comes to snow, its certainly not a Blizzak and I'd hope no one would compare it to that.

Not good news, that's what I have on now. . Debating between getting new winter tires vs. buying a beater that already has them just to drive for winter.?????

hard call, if you got a plce to store your current ride and all that, go ahead and buy a beater. Though whos to say if that beaters' gonna stay in one peice. Myself I just buy a real good set of snow tires and drive me styque all year round.

hmm, but that sounds like it could add up, easily costing more than what the tires would be worth. Not to mention the hassle of registering the car and all that jazz.
