Has anyone found a kit and rebuilt there Zetec alternator?

You just need a alternator brushes, it takes a few minutes to swap them out. You can get them at most good autopart stores.

Brushes are part of the regulator assembly on later 6G model alternator. Pulling apart alt requires also maybe buying the 'tolerance ring', a thin wall ring of plastic that takes up the space between rear bearing and the rear casting. The ring very often seizes up and destroys on rear case removal. Cheap part but hassle to find.
