    Can ATX number F83P-CC drop-in replace F83P-DB? (99 Contour to 98 Contour SE)
    3L process done
    I need a new mod to do...
    All bolt on and transmission mods done.

    Those were tranny numbers. I guess I ment to say, will a tranny from a 2.5 contour fit the zetec contour? Thanks

    I'm sure that they will not for the same reason that the MTX isn't interchangable. The engine bell housing is different.

    So it doesn't look like it even if they are both ATX's?

    Like he said, bell housing is different between v6 and 4 cyl. It will not work.

    There are also internal shaft length differences in addition to the different bellhousings.
    Duratec and zetec torque converter are also different.
