    Anyone here around Buffalo?

    Miserable drive home. Typically have a half hour drive. Took me two and a half hours to get home. The 190 was a parking lot. I'd still be stuck on it if it didn't get off at Clinton/62 exit.

    The contour handled great though.

    Any other experiences

    How much snow are you getting/did you get?
    I want snow. It's cold so it should snow. Well, that's just my way of thinking.

    We only had about an inch. The problem was it came during the rush hour (about 5 pm). The roads didn't get salted before the storm. Reason I don't know. There calling for another 4-8 tonight.

    Wow, they salt before a storm. You guys are lucky.

    We had a big snow storm one year and they didn't plow our road for three days. My neighbor is a nurse and the hospital sent a snow mobile for her. We had no mail delivery either.

    We normally don't get salt on the side roads so we end up driving on bumpy, icy roads until it melts.

    I agree...then maybe Bear Creek will make snow and I can go skiing.

    Was that the blizzard of '96? I remember being snowed in for days.

    I'm so glad that we got snow finally! We so need more! I cant wait for the ski resorts to open up.

    i'd be happy if it were about 8 inches of snow on the ground. that seems like a good in between

    yeah, the only good part about this storm is that holiday valley will be open in two days i already hit a car in a parking lot. car doesnt seem to stop very well in a foot of snow. luckily i dont even see a scratch. my buddy totalled a new bmw yesterday driving his beater pontiac. surprisingly, the pontiac isnt too bad.
