    Default ATX Problem

    Well i have a '98 Mercury Mystique 2.5L V6 with about 186K...the torque converter is not to healthy but i'm gettin that changed soon, but i woke up yesterday morning went out with my family and the car just started like hard shifting non-stop on the highway and even on the main roads..anyone know what my problem may be?

    There are two threads from late October that you should review. Increase your date range of posts to display by using the control at the bottom of the page to several months, then go back 3 or 4 pages.

    Is your car hard shifting non-stop, or is it perhaps jumping in and out of neutral? Mine did that and I needed to replace some sensor in the transmission.
