    Default Green Ring of Death

Since I put my Pre98 console in I havent figured out how to make the Cigarette Lighter Light work. I tried running off the post into the dimmer switch but it didnt work.

I though it may have been the connection style at the lighter, so I just got back from getting the plug (doesnt look special).

    Anyone actually wire it in?

Oh I also got some Leather to do me a another armrest. My OEM Leather one is nice, but has seen better days.

yes I wired it up. I forget exactly how I did it but I ran a wire to the fuse panel and tapped off a fuse. iirc there are three terminals, one is ground and power for the lighter and one is power for the light.

Yeah mine has Three prongs, Two is power/ground for the Lighter. Those are covered using the 98+ Harness. In addition there is a third prong for the light. I connected it to a 12v source via the dimmer switch, but no dice.

I think Im going to have test to see if the light even works.
