hey all i'm new here from PA, but i have spoken with Luca over the phone a whiles back on a previous svt contour i sold. well got a new 98.5 svt for a grand, with 95k on it. #6221-6535 kkm intake and a short throw with a powdercoated Voodoo shift knob, just wanted to see some friendly SVT'ers. still trying to fit in here, and wanted to hear what some of you all have to say. i also have spoken with Scott, this guy is great!

I figured you'd eventually get another SVT. Is this one black too?
I spotted a black one a few weeks ago on 309 near Montana West, it was at a small shop on the opposite side of the road.

haha no that wasn't me...my svt is not currently "legal" but it runs excellent. the car needs nothing but 2 tires. i will pm you when i get it on the road tho. cause i'd like to see your Tours. oh i had to get a new one! ever since i came home from NYC in 06' (came home after a year to find my svt had spun a bearing,someone was driving it, besides me) i grew more addicted to them. so i found this black one about 10 miles from my home for $1000. it has 95,148 on the clock. i bought it so cheap because the guy i bought it from couldn't change a fuel pump.(claims he didn't have the time)and the car wouldn't start. but i bought the car and the next day....i changed it myself in 1 hour. it has all the options except a rear wing. it also has the e1 wheels. currently i have a kkm intake with a 75 mm maf. exhaust is on its way. keep in touch

Don't ya just love it when you can pick them up for cheap because someone doesn't take the time to do a simple fix? An hour of your time and it's running great...

hahha i'm sorry. trying to get the pics attached. well the guy i bought it from....get this....he told me he had a silverfrost svt that looked exactly like the Saleen svt contour. yea the body kit, supercharger, wing...etc. i wasn't buying it tho, because he told me he didn't have enough time to change out a fuel pump.(i don't think he knew how) I personally never did one before. well i replaced it myself in about an hour. it has bald rear tires and 2 slow leaks up front. it was completely stock when i brought it home, had to melted foglamps, and a whole bunch of other little issues. but from my other svt, i had parts laying around everywhere. so i did all my bolt-ons. i also have brand new o2 sensors,belts, uim,lim gaskets, and 2 sets of stock svt intake systems(1 is up for grabs) i will post pics as soon as i can figure it out. lol
