hotels pull that ish all the time.
I think they always keep a bunch in reserve for travelers that walk in and need a room right away or some junk like that.

This is VERY true. Remember last year they were "booked"? I got a room the Saturday of SZ for cheap also.

Well I booked a room last night at the same hotel. Thurs night for $72 and Friday night for $84. Not to shabby... but I still could have gotten a room for $65 down the street at Best Western... oh well now we can bs in the parking lot with you guys and not have to worry about staggering down the street... just up some stairs
