Wanna be in the "Spotlight" ?

I do a lot of work on my truck and a lot of parts running for my friends (the local salvage yards allow me into their lots) and I find myself working nights in the dark with nothing but a maglight to illuminate the area I am working in, I found a spotlight (the kind you find on Cruisers) and it WILL fit, but I dear it may be the wrong idea to do so and that I may as well deal with what i got.

But out of curiosity, there's one Contour in Laramie that was a Rawlins county Patrol car (2.5 Duratec PI) and it looks Quite sharp with the Light on it......my questions is, if you picture it in YOUR minds, would it look rediculous or a neat addition to the car?

i may do it anyways, I just thoguht i would see what other people (CEG Memebers being my priority) may think of it.

A big antenna on the rear trunk for the CB radio and a set of steelies would it set it off quite nicely.

I think that CEG is a great place to ask...has anyone seen a cop contour? I know I'd love to.

There are alot of cars that look good as cop cars. Personally I'd be all over a contour with a cop package. I have always liked the way the taurus looks in a police package...along with many other cars.

If all that was going to be done is the spotlight....I'd say skip it. But if your going for the whole police interceptor look(spotlight, steelies w/ dog dishes, donut boxes in the back seat)...go for it and post pics please!!!

I am going all out on this project, I was thinking about it all night, and this morning, the only difference is that I may not have the possibility for an engine swap to match it, I could have it programmed if it was needed, and I will have a 5-spd.

Other than that, a Black Paint Job, Slightly Tinted windows and the Steelies. and no i wont forget the Big Ass Antennae, donut boxes will be replaced with juice boxes (2 kids) and cookie crumbs lol.

and dont worry a bit I will be posting pics...as well as step-By-Step Instructional set-up of HOW TO on the spotlight project.

LOL! I love what that suggests for the corollary: "Since it IS just a regular Contour, it definitely needs a faux-police treatment." Nice.

Not making fun btw, I genuinely support this for my amusement and want to see it.
