    what did you do with the oil breather line i need ideas i think thats whats giving me some problem that im having

    Cap off the line opening on the CAI tube.

    Put a breather "filter" on the tube coming from the the valve cover.

    Notice the filter on the valve cover (by the red coupling on the TB).




    As far as capping off the line on the CAI....I did mine with a screw.

    My fuel rail is in the way. I have a tube running from the breather port to the breather.
    1995 Contour GL, Zetec, ATX, 118k - Sold
    2012 Mitsubishi Lancer GT, 2.4L, CVT and it begins again.

    you could fit an elbow or a length of pipe to the cam cover and fit the breather to that

    i used a PCV elbow that my dad had from one of his old cars. it was a little 90 elbow and i put the breather filter on that

    I took a vacuum hose,the colored ones, like the ones they sell at autozone, pep boys and connected it to the pipe and then to the oil breather.

    On a side note, I heard that using a breather filter messes up the pressure in the crankcase. The crankcase gets the same amount of air when the TB is WO or not, but when it has the breather on it, it gets any amount of air.

    Funny typo.CIA. I was like "what the heck?" LOL.

    The original poster has bought another car now. I don't know if he got rid of the Contour.
