    Use a "pickle fork". Makes it an easy job.

    After you get the arm out from the subframe a large hammer can knock it off while the knuckle or rotor is supported.

    In his haste and abstraction he stuck a pickle-fork into his right eye, and on removing the fork the eye came with it.

    our process was a little more barbaric. Put a long prybar into the lower control arm, have Barge jump on it. Thing pops off faster than a gold digger at the richest man meeting.
