Thread: Gauge choices....

    Default Gauge choices....

I've got a 2-5/8" oil pressure gauge installed in my custom dash pod and i'm adding a pillar pod this winter. I'm thinking of adding:

    Water temp
    Oil Temp
    Volts

    Good choices? Suggestions?

sound like good picks to me, I am going to try my own dual gage bezel and I want to add oil temp and I am not sure what else, maybe coolant temp also ...

If i get the tuning software this winter i'm planning on i'm going to probably cut the volts gauge and install a wideband O2 in it's place.

This is what I was going to suggest Josh. Digital Widwband...FTW
However, I do have one question though. Why Oil Temp??? Is it because you live in an icy tundra, I.E., Wisconsin?

Skip the volts and go straight to the wideband. Why spend money, if you know it's just coming out in the spring? That's just my opinion though!

If you need a volt gauge... and need a radar detector, the Escort 8500 x50 has a display mode where it'll show voltage when there are no alerts. You won't hog up a gauge port for voltage then.
