well i finally figured out how to remove cover on eec test ha ha .pulled codes176 and 543.thanks .from looking at threads the 543 could be ignored if car is running good.if the 176 gets worse will the cel stay on?the reason im asking is the light comes on for about 10 seconds every 2 days or so.i know just get the thing changed thanks again

Yes, unless the Fuse 11 holder is loose (or Fuse 11 is about to break).
