Wire Harness install

I have a 98 SVT and the wires in many places are all cracked. Well today after driving it for a year like this, the wires under the fuse box (under hood) are touchy. Everytime the box is touched or I turn the wheel hard to box pops and I lose power to the car. Only when I shake the box a bit does it come back on, but only temp.
I knew this would eventually happen when I bought the car, and I have a "new" wire harness ready to be installed. Now I heard from a few mechanic buddies of mine that to install the harness is like a grand at the dealership, so I am going to do it myself this winter. My question is a while ago I found the ford guide to installing the harness on CEG and I tried to find it again and couldnt. Can anyone give me to pointers to installing this or help me find some guide for reference. Thanks in advance
