    Default ECM Change?

    A friend of mine from Germany had what I thought was an outstanding idea.
    He suggested replacing the ECM in my 2000 CSVT with that of a 2000 Mondeo ST.

    Has anybody done this?

    Stock to SVT has been done successfully, but I've never heard of an SVT to Mondeo.
    If home is where the heart is, then I'm out of place.

    You would be better off just getting a tune. It would out perform both.

    Being a 2000 SVT, wouldn't PATS be an issue anyways for him?
