SP motorsports sells them. you'll need an adapter plate to make it work tho.

No....not for the Contour SVT specifically. But the Steeda short throw that is made for the Focus DOES work as I have it. You need to make sure you get the correct one though. You also need a riser plate that a fellow CEG'r made/makes. I got mine off him about a year ago. PM me if you have any more questions about it.

I thought the riser plate was only needed for 98's and 98.5's? Do you still need it for 99-00? I obivously have the riser plate because I have a 98.5.

the plate is different for the 2k then the other models, the early years need one that sits just under the shifter ... look at my cardomain page there is a photo there ... don't think I can view it at work ... on the 2k you need a larger plate that goes under the shifter as it is all one peice, you might have to get to this from under the car but I am not 100% sure

2000 SVT's don't need a riser plate! What you'll need to do, is remove the sound deadening panel, which can be accessed from below the car. Just remove the exhaust heatshield, and you can loosen the 4 bolts holding it on. I used a piece of plexiglass to cover up the hole, or you could use any sort of metal or even ABS plastic. The piece that you remove, actually protrudes up into the car, which doesn't allow enough room for the Steeda to move freely. Let me know if you have questions.

I believe any Focus 5speed with the MTX-75 transmission will work fine.
