OK guys i can't believe im going to do this but my contour is up forsale. The only reason i am selling it is because im getting a new car. Here are the mods

Engine:

Has a used tranny out of a 2000 cougar that had 50k on it put into the tour due to the old tranny having some spider gears going out which is very rare if you do want the old tranny i will be more than willing to give it to you. The tranny shifts smoothly thru every gear. I did clean the honey comb out of the main cat when the tranny was out for better flow which tripped the check engine light all you need to get is a O2 eliminator. The exhaust does sound more throatier than before i really enjoy the sound of it.

Does have a CAI with a K&N filter($30)

Fidanza light weight flywheel ($315)

Big Bear Stage 1 clutch($300)

Carbon fiber IMRC cover ($90)

Other than that the oil is changed every 2500 miles with synthetic oil. The motor has 109k on it which is mostly highway miles because i commute 60 miles a day. Starts up smoothly, does not smoke at all, and has never been abused. I always run premium gasoline in it and the occasional octane booster.

Interior:

It has Tan interior that is almost flawless except one puncture hole in the driver seat the size just a bit smaller than a dime. Other than that meguiers leather car for the seats everytime i wash it. No signs of cracking or tearing in great condition.

SVT engraved shift knob.($55)

Triple Gauge pillar with brand new phantom gauges. Boost, Oil, Volts.($250)

Xplode cd player with brand new Jensen speaker replacements about 3 months ago. ($70)

Exterior:

Overall the paint is in really good condition for what it is does have a few marks under the front bumper and a few scatch's here and there.

5% tint with eyebrow.($265)

17inch Kazera rims and Spare rim in the trunk.($1200)

Does have a spoiler with third brakelight.

Gts headlight covers($50)

Painted Calipers

Svt badges in place of ford emblems($30)

White hotglow undercarage kit that is not working at the time being i believe it is the power converter which costs about 75 dollars for a new converter to have it working again. ($300 brand new)

ok guys i have had a pretty rough weekend. My wife just had her appendix burst which involved a surgery and i have spent the most part of my time at the hospital. I need to sell this car so im bumping the price down to $5200 obo i need to sell this because im sure everyone knows what a hassle doctor bills are not to mention the ones i have already. Looks pretty good to me But the miles are turning people off. I've seen tours go with 60 or 70k miles in good condition for that same price. Just a thought

Well if they are selling their cars with that low of mileage they must have money running through their veins. KBB is 5320 on the car STOCK. So I think that my 6k obo is reasonable. But know one is willing to make a bid on it to find out how low i will go so I plan on putting it into the local paper which i didn't intend to do but i guess it has to be done

Mods like the clutch and intake and stuff like are not mods that raise the value of the car. Also saying you have a stage 1 clutch and lightened flywheel and all the other performance implied mods and then saying its never been abused is like saying hitler was a saint.

gotta agree. Im not a fan of buying premodded cars, I like to start from the ground up.

Plus if I buy a CSVT, the only way I will modd it is if stuff breaks. Like the exhaust develops a hole... I would put a better exhaust on, and so on...
