Default Anyone need a ZIP drive?

I have a Zip-100 USB drive and 10 unopened Zip disks. PC or Mac. Anyone want them free? I hate to see them in the trash

I love Zip drives. It's too bad they never really took off like they should of.

I have a 250MB USB drive but I never use it because I'd have to take the drive with me anywhere I go.

they never took off because of the expensive price of the disks, and the extremely small storage space when compared to even a regular CD-R.

the 250 and the 700mb's came out way too late in it's life cycle, and still didn't help the price thing much.

Yeah, the price was definitely the killer. It really wasn't that bad though considering the ease of using them, and how long they lasted. I have the most beat up looking 100MB disks from years ago, and they have never failed me. I'd say it was money well spent.

Now with DVD and CD burners in every machine, a Zip is pretty much useless.

It's found a new home. I wish it well.
