    Default whats the best way to pull the motor

    fixing to pull the motor for a 3l swap. its coming out tomorrow. is it best to pull the trans with it. should I pull it out the top or drop it out the bottom

    Definitely the TOP!
    96 SE with '01 3.0. Overbored 62mm throttle body, custom LIM, double honed SVT UIM, SVT cams, headers, custom Y pipe, custom mandrel bent SS 2.5" exhaust, Quaife, torque brace and custom frt & rr suspension.

    pull it through the top with the trans. I maybe a little tight between the front ocre support and the firewall but mine managed to slip through. Maybe get it raised up halfway out, then pull the front manifold off to get some more room, it should then lift out with no problems
