    You really need to email the vendor. They could be new, but more likely they are remanufactured.

    And make certain they're specific for your car. The CD4E was also used on the Escape and the Cougar and the transmissions are not always interchangeable due to bellhousings and some of the electronics.

    Also, the trannys are different for the 2.0 and the 2.5......
