Brake Light Question

Guys, I have a quick question about the brake lights on my 00 Mystique....does anyone know if the brake light assembly from a 95 will fit as well? They look to be the same to me, but I don't know where to look to be 100% sure and I need a new one because mine is letting water in. Thanks

95-97 are identical, 98-00 are identical.

For the Mystiques 95-00 look the same from the outside, but they changed the bulb holder somewhere along the line....so the bulb holder from your car will likely not fit a 95 housing.

Like ray said, i think the change was made from 97 to 98, but i'm not certain.

95-97 are identical, 98-00 are identical.

Just a correction.

95-98 are identical, 98.5-00 are identical.

95-98 is the larger looking light and 98.5-00 went to a slimmer light. Since you have a 00, either will look fine.

Installing a 98.5-00 brake light in a 95-98 looks a little odd because it does not fill the black brake light outline Ford puts on the rear window.

I had a 99 brake light in my car and it looked to small for the brake outline.
