Thread: Flywheel question....

  1. Default Flywheel question....

I've seen plenty of high-performance flywheels for Contours on various sites, and my question is simply.....

Is it possible to upgrade the flywheel on an automatic, or is it only for manuals?

for the ATX its a flexplate. they are pretty thin and light weight (only a couple punds) to begin with. its really not worth it with an auto since it has to turn that heavy torque converter anyways.

a lightened torque converter would be cool though.
