Thread: WTB-Mounting Hardware for factory wing

  1. #1

Default WTB-Mounting Hardware for factory wing

    Title says it all.

I have a 98.5 SVT without the wing.

I have acquired a wing for it but I cannot find the mounting hardware. Always gone on all the cars in the junkyard.

The bolts are no problem but it looks like it also requires plastic or metal clips since there are plastic pins that hold down the middle and ends.

The dealer I checked at said they could only sell the mounting hardware with a new wing ($$$$)

Anybody have the hardware? Or just a photo of the factory hardware and I can probably MacGuyver something up.

    Thanks!

It's a spoiler, not a wing. Big difference.

    Yeah, true.

It's just a spoiler, not a Park Bench sized wing that provides 100lbs of downforce even when sitting still.

I still need to mount it though

    SVTCJ,

It's been a while since you asked, but I have an unmounted OEM Post-98 spoiler. If you'd like I will take a pic of the HW and scan the mounting template.

PM me if you are interested.
