dvd headunits

Just wondering what you guys thought of in-dash dvd headunits. I have lost touch with quite a few H/U's

I was looking at the clarion, kenwood, panasonic and alpine models.

I could look at all the technical papers, but they are so close to the same. Does anybody have any pros and cons about installation or sound quallity issues.

Your going to want to swap the HVAC controls with the stereo location. Otherwise its alot of fun trying to adjust the heat with everthing powered up.

well I am trying to find a pre 98 center console and mount it in there. But it isn't that hard to close the screen for a second.
