    Default pcv filter?

i have a new pcv valve to install (and hoping it resolves my low idle-i've tried everything else). the haynes manual says to clean out a foam filter in the airbox. do svt's have this filter? the haynes picture seems to be regular v6airbox (maybe its a zetec airbox in the pic) but i dont recall the filter in my brothers v6airbox. my ford manual lists a replacement pcv zetec filter and valve but no v6 filter, just the pcv valve. is the valve the only thing to change in our v6?

There is no PCV filter on a V6. the Haynes is wrong (big surprise there).

There's a breather filter (I think this is what you're referring to) on the Zetec only. It's tucked away into right-rear corner of the airbox. There's no such filter on the Duratec. Gotta love using those manuals...
