Default Driver power seat on a CSVT has a rear trim problem

and this picture could describe the problem...

As you hopefully will see, the rear side support, i guess i could call it that, is out of place at the bottom of the seat going upwards to the stitching that is past the rear bag area.

Hopefully if you see what i mean, you can probably notice the problem.

So, i am wondering if you folks know of a way to fix this or have seen/experienced or know of a solution.

Take the seat out and adjust the inside of it or is this something with those metal clippings, i read about on the inside of these seats?

Let me know if you have questions and i will gladly explain a bit more.

    Thanks a lot!

    Default

I fixed it with my brother in law, for future reference, there is three metal retainers that run along the back of the seat, obviously hidden from view by the leather cover, so what you have to do is check that they are in the right place, either middle or on each side of the seat.

Once that is done, you have to check at the bottom of the seat a couple of metal things that stick out, well, these metal retainers rest on these and there are wire hogs, small to view that you have to adjust to make them secure, if you roll up the leather seating cover you will see this more clearly.

After that is done, test the seat, back and forth and lumbar support, etc.

    That's should do it.

Good luck and thanks to all!
