    Default Contour SVT Problem?

    When i start my car it sounds fine, but after I push a liitle bit of gas you can hear a squeeky noise by the belt...next to the ac compressor....do you know what it could be?

    what is the age and condition of the sepentine belt?
    - 95 Mystique LS
    - 99 Contour SeVT <- 3L/NPG Turbo

    I just bought it new from AutoZone...should i get one from ford...

    Check belt tensioner. Whether it is within the tabs (limits). In addition, remove belt and check if all pulleys will spin freely.
