I heard these rumors earlier in the week. Glad to hear they are true. I'm ready for the next big deal to step up or just less schumi in general.

no way will I be happy to see Schumi leave unless he leaves with an 8th title in his hand! He has set the bar in F1 for others to reach, at the conference in Monza, Alonso said that losing Schumi would be huge because now there will be no one to beat pretty much. The good thing is that Renault have announced their 2007 driver lineup which includes Fisichella and Heiki Kovalainen. That means Kimi will most likely end up with Ferrari with Massa also confirmed for next year. That pretty much sums it up there that Schumi will infact call it quits. The decision to announce it at Monza was made in the begining of the season so this should really come no surprise. Either way we have all, or those who actually cared for F1, we have witnesed a legend

    Default Schumi.

The best driver ever in any series. Not my personal favorite but still you have to give it to the guy. There will be more new race winners next year.
