    The pre98 and 98+ bumpers are shaped slightly differently. The pre98 mount is flatter. It "might" fit on your SVT but will have gaps where the shape of the plastic meets the shape of the bumper.

    On a side note, the 98+ mount definitely will not fit on a pre98 without modification.

    On another side note (off topic from the thread, sorry) with some cheap pieces of strapping from Home Depot you can make your own mount for your SVT like mine.
