Thread: Spare tire kit

  1. #1

    Default Spare tire kit

If I don't have access to a junkyard (which I do, although I've never been there), where could I get a spare tire jack, lug wrench, and etc. for my car? Would you believe that I just found out the other week that I don't have any of that stuff? I've had this car for almost two years now.

I have an extra spare, but andymel has first dibs on it. No extra jack or lug wrench though. I'll let you know if he passes on it.

    Jeb,
I have a spare, jack, and plastic hold down from my 98 CSVT. You're more then welcome to have it. I'm in the Williamsburg/Newport News area if you want to take the drive. PM me if interested.

That sounds like a pretty good option to me. However if it does't work out you know you could take the jack and lug wrench from just about any Ford car out there. I think most Ford cars have lugs that are 19mm? I know I used my 94 Ford Taurus SHO lug wrench for my CSVT, because mine didn't have one either.
