    Default Sweet! It worked!

When I bought my SVTC from the original owner, I asked him if the vehicle had come with a keyless entry remote; he couldn't remember. Nearly a year later, I finally had to chance to read up on the forums, and check my car and see if it was a actually equipped with Keyless Entry, which it is. BUT the reason for this post is...

About 4 or so years ago I rolled my MINT '94 Cobra. Sad sad day. Still sad thinking about it. Anyways, I still have the keys and remote for it. Tonight I replaced the batteries and went ahead to see if it would program...to my surprise IT DID! I'm so happy! Not only did I save about $40, I get to have another thing on my key chain to remember the car!

Just thought I would share my excitement.

Here is a picture of the Cobra, just cause.

A yes, the famous SLO Cobra.

I guess you hear that a lot, being from San Luis Obispo. Congratulations on finding a meaningful memento.

Man I would still be sick too if I had rolled a 94/95 Cobra!

I used some old Thunderbird remotes on my last CSVT. I even picked up a few in the junkyard for spares and they worked fine too after cleaning them up and throwing in new batteries.

I was on a back mountain road late at night. I came around a corner and a deer was in the road. When I hit the brakes the back end came around. Front end went into a ditch, flipped over and slid on my roof.
