Thread: Supercharged Contour

  1. #1

    Default Supercharged Contour

I've heard allot of talk about 1/4 mile times for Turbo and all motor cars. I was wondering what kind of times are supercharged contours putting up? (Yes, I searched)

Buckshot would be the guy to ask about that. he's probably run at the track the most with a supercharger. most of the guys with the old vortech kit are still trying to get the shaft to stay together

Well, when 3.0Ls are making just as much tq as a vortech 2.5L, that probably explains most of it. Needs more power under the curve.

It'd be interesting to see blackcoog's new setup make a pass

325whp should do better than 14.1

One would assume that. Now, Rich(Buckshot77) openly admits he's no 1/4 mile guru, but I believe he was running mid to high 14's with his S/C'd SVT. He was making similar power IIRC.
