This time of year, there's not going to be a whole lot goin' on yet. Why not go to the other place all IL people go, Lake Geneva? You have an indoor waterpark there(Timber Ridge Lodge), the "cutesy" shops/ restaurants the women like, and you'll save about 2 hrs off your drive. Considering at this time of year the summertime attractions aren't open yet in the dells, you'll more or less get the same thing in L.G. with the exception of gambling. Dells has an indian casino 10 min. outside town. If this was 2 mo. later, I'd say without a doubt go Dells. The waterparks, mini golf, go-kart places rock. There's also boat tours, the ducks, arcades, etc., etc.
