phillips HIDs point sideways not forward

I bought my car with phillips HIDs installed, and the headlights have the modifcation done where the yellow corners were taken out and now they are black. It used to be svt2sho's car. The headlights look really good from the outside but they don't light up the road. My highs seem like what my lows should be. Any suggestions?

I guess we need pictures of the headlamps themselves, its kind of hard to deduce your issue from your description

just a straight on shot or some from under the hood or what exactly? I'll go take some right now but just need to know exactly what to take shots of.

Just take as many shots as you think is necessary to convey your issue. You say you're having issues with the low / high beams... take a shot of those, as well as some overall shots.

Some of the rear including the bulbs you are having issue with may help... Unless they are stock.
