I read the HowTo on the procedure to flush the radiator and block. Part of it said to use tap water in the procedure. However, in reading some comments in the "Bob is the Oil Guy" forums about antifreeze, it is almost universally recommended to make your 50/50 mix with only Distalled water due to chemicals in tap water. Wouldn't flushing with tap water cause the same problem? Or am I worrying about nothing? TIA.

After flushing, the amount of tap water left in the cooling system is minimal and won't hurt the system. Just refill the system with 50/50 (coolant/distilled water) and you should be fine.

I think I will err on the side of caution for this one. The local grocery store has distilled water for less than $1. Though I did look in PepBoys and saw one mfg had what was basically distilled water for $8 gal. I think I'll pass.
