  1. #1

Default CEL o2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

I have had this code for a couple months now, both of my o2 sensors are new, but it keeps giving me this CEL... the car doesnt hesitate like if it were to have a bad o2 sensor, but this light just bothers me..

    how can i fix this?

Need the actual code since ther are four O2 sensors in your car.

Take it to Autozone or Advance Auto to have the codes read (free) and post the exact codes.

You have a lot of information in your signature but not the year, engine, miles and tranny.

If you have a Zetec, check the the O2 sensor Fuse 13 and O2 sensor connections. If you have a Duratec, check the sensor connections.

Well, that makes you qualified to work at AutoZone, also.

Make certain those are the correct codes.

At 92k miles, it would be wise to change (at a minimum) the upper sensor in addition to checking the fuse.
