Default Replacing door for junk yard door (will paint match?)

Basically because of some STUPID ****ING soccer mom or something like that in the parking lot, I need to replace my rear left door. The thing is I'm scared that even though it's off the same car (tique) and same colour Silver Frost TS, I'm not so sure if the paint will match up perfectly. Do you guys think that as the longer the car is used/outside there's that much of a variation in the paint? I should know I got into a door dinger with an acura, replaced her door with the exact same model year, and colour and she complains of it not matching.

You MIGHT get lucky and it will match, but don't hold your breath. If it's a shade off, you'll notice immediately. Especially with a lighter color as opposed to a darker one.
If home is where the heart is, then I'm out of place.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on how the paint was mixed, how long the car has sat in the sun, how well the finish was cared for, etc. If you're concerned about the paint matching, take it to a body shop where they can blend it. If you're not concerned, get a junkyard door and slap it on. You get what you pay for, and there's a reason body shop labor costs so much.

I always wondered this since some friends of mine and I joked about that exact idea when an idiot in a ram backed into our 3 month (then) old 300c and put a huuuuge dent in the driver's side door.

*shrug* Not that I'd have done it (in the end it cost $2800 O_O YEEEOWCH!). OTOH, nothing beats a factory paint job!

Though don't hide the fact - if the doors get their VINS stamped it might raise questions XD
