98 3L Heads

I have a quick question i have a buddy with a 3L duratec out of a 98 Taurus, and i want to know if any of the parts interchange with my 96 2.5

i dunno about the oil passages but if the water pump is ran off the cam then maybe. but i thought it was 99 and above....

Why would you want any "parts" unless you're referring to the complete short block? Only problem is that the 96-99 3.0's use a H2O pump driven from the front of the motor not the LH intake cam like the 2.5's.

If you're going to use this motor, you'll need something like an electric H2O pump. As I recall, BAT sells 'em (or used to).
