Thread: Race on a track?

    Ive been interested in starting to race on a track. I have no idea were to get started, i did some googling but if anyone here had any information that would be great.

    Quarter mile racing? Autocrossing? Road racing? There are a lot of different ways to "race on a track" so you have to be more specific

    Default alco speedway

    try alco for track racing. the dragstrip's in sconie 45 min from the metro.

    Not quite sure- what do you recommend to start out racing in. i was thinking auto cross

    I'm no expert on the autocross... But there are a few places you can drag race not too far from here.

    Why certainly... I've never been to the wednesday night street legal drags but I'd bet that would be the most fun if you run street tires.

    sadly i work every wensday night. im thinking of drag racing-Is there any place to go on the weekends?? thanks everyone for you help.

    the saftey center in st cloud is very nice and a bit spendy. i have a few non-tour drivers that have interest. to make it more affordable fer all it will take a larger group for the all day reservation. if there is any interest in driving a top notche road coarse say so and i will line it up. i will bring the svtc and sub legacy gt! to be sure that awd does make fer better handling?
