    Default Rock chips and detailing...

I have several rock chips on my hood. I definately can not afford a respray, so what are my best options? I have a vial of SF paint from when I got my bumper replaced...should I use that for touch up (not sure if it has flex agent in it or not). What about clear coat?
I also want to polish my car to completely refurb my paint. Should I polish before or after touchup paint?

How would you pros go about this?

Silver is about the hardest color to use touchup paint with due to the metallic flakes in it. With that being said, I would suggst you check out the langka system http://www.autogeek.net/langka.html

The general rule of thumb is to wait at least 30 days to polish/wax after using touchup.
