:crazy: THis car bucks and jerks in different gears and around 30 -35 mph and 40 - 45 mph ranges. Sometimes it can really jerk at slow speeds.

Check engine light on and the following codes came up.
P0135 - oxygen heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1
P0401 - Exhaust gas recirculation flow excessive detected
P0320 - Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
P1131 - HO2S II Indicates Lean

and a pending code
P0171 System too Lean Bank 1

I have recently performed the 99M03 Recall. The EGR was also changed. PLugs and wires are about 6 months old.

Open to ideas that will help.:shrug:

ok, since you did just did the recall, go back and recheck the rear harness and make sure everything is tight, all the connectors are fully seated (especially the 42 pin connector). assuming that everything is correct. look at your mass air flow sensor as it can (possible) cause all your codes except the egr flow code and it may be left over from replacing your egr valve. try cleaning the hot wire (maf) first as they are not cheap and if a film builds up on them they will not register correct. but first check your work on the rear harness as it may be the cause of your problem and that would also explain all those codes.

Start by changing the oxygen sensor. The one before the catalytic convertor. That should take care of the P0135, P1131 and P0171.

Then change the Crankshaft position sensor. That should take care of P0320.

Drive for a week or so and post new CEL codes if they appear.

What year and how many miles on the car?

some codes can be a lot of other things, there is a chain of problems that can trigger one code. P1131 is indeed related to the oxygen sensor, indicates lean but it's also related to vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure, clogged injectors. I had P1131 last week caused by a vacuum leak, not the Oxy Sensor;
But before I got into fixing it/replacing everything to narrow problems, I got a shop I trust to pin point the problem exactly by testing, because if I started replacing everything and wait for new codes, I'd be broke again and I'd replace parts that didn't really need replacing.

My advice is to make the effort and get somebody to tell you what the problem is exactly so you don't spend a sh#t load on unnecessary parts. Maybe it's one little problems that triggers multiple codes :confused::confused:.

That's my $.02.

Cheers
