cam gears

i have the JRSC BBK on my zetec mondeo and was wondering if adjustable cam gears would be worth fitting to get some more hp / tq.
at present i have stock internals with a custom tune, my numbers are 203 / 178 at the flywheel.
i am looking at the AEM ones that CFM (central florida motorsport) are selling.

opinions please

just installing them probably won't give you much (they are marginally lighter than stock) but tuning the gears and the adjusting your custome tune (unichip?) to pull some more power out of the tuned cams should give you some really good gains in the middle of your power band.

For the work and the cost it is not worth the gain.

yeah its a unichip, i am getting the same sort of replies from other forums about the cost & work vs gains. so i may reconsider my plans.

Well when I installed mine, I dyno tuned them. Didn't gain very much. For the life of me I can't find the graphs.
